PERMANENT MAKE-UP
eyeliner

ABOUT
Thinking of getting your eyeliner permanently applied? Maybe you hate applying your eyeliner daily, or you aren’t able to apply it as precisely as you’d like, or maybe you just want to make your eye pop! Whatever your reasons, you may find a solution in permanent eyeliner.
There are two styles of permanent eyeliner. One of them being tightline, which involves adding the pigment between the layers of your eyelashes to darken your lash line. This option is a lot thinner than an eyeliner, and it’s considered very natural-looking.
Then there is the traditional eyeliner the pigment is actually applied above the lash line and it’s drawn almost as if you were to put a liquid eyeliner on. This is mostly for people who wear that look on a daily basis and want to the ease of not having to draw them daily. Thickness depends on the clients preference and is discussed before the procedure takes place. Pre-numb is applied to the lash lid for 20 minutes to ensure no pain.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
Once you get your eyeliner applied, there’s really no down time. You can leave and go about your daily tasks and even drive yourself home afterwards.
• You should avoid touching or rubbing your eyes while they heal, so you don’t spread any germs or bacteria around the area.
• Healing time takes 7-10 days total
•Do not touch, rub or scratch the treated area. It is very sensitive and you can peel the pigment off if you treat it inappropriately. Use a q-tip dipped into clean water and gently clean the area.
•Do not wear makeup, especially mascara, for 10 days.
•You must remove your lash extensions at least one week before you have the procedure done.
•If you wear contacts you must take them out
•Avoid sun exposure
•Avoid sweating, saunas, gyms and working out as well as swimming pools.
•No facials, botox or any other cosmetic treatments.
•Do not sleep on your face and use a clean pillowcase.
•Do not wear contact lenses during the aftercare period. Wear glasses instead and when it’s finished, take a new pair of contacts if possible.
Day 1 Your freshly done eyeliner may appear dark. Don’t panic, the pigment will fade up to 50%. The true color will be seen after three weeks. Also, the treated area can appear swollen and itchy. It is ok to put some ice wrapped in a cloth on it. The final result will be seen after approximately 3 weeks. The speed of healing depends on the skin type, so every person heals differently. Proper maintenance is important. After your initial appointment you will need to come back 6-10 weeks later for you final touch-up. After that color boosts are suggested after a few years to keep the ink fresh looking.
