  • Nano is considered the most advanced method of cosmetic brow tattooing and Bladed Beauty Bar is one of the only permanent makeup artists offering Nano Brows in the Lake/Sumter area. I am 2x Certified in this advanced technique. The reason for this is the skill, requires both artistic and technical ability, that is required to properly perform this modality of cosmetic tattooing. Put simply, it is much more difficult to learn than traditional Microblading. It is the most advanced style of permanent makeup for brows available anywhere and I am proud to offer this service.

To create your one of a kind Nano brows, pigment is implanted superficially into the skin using a specialized machine. Nano uses a fine needle to create delicate strokes into the skin. These strokes are built up by fine micro-dots that form a crisp & realistic hair strokes. There is no cutting involved, so it causes less trauma to the skin and no issue of scar tissue building up over time. Less trauma = less damage which equates to better healed results and preservation of the integrity of YOUR skin. Nano in itself is a more inclusive style of cosmetic tattooing. For example, Nano can give people with oilier skin types hairstroke style brows, something you typically cannot do with microblading. Nano means I can give a broader range of people hairstroke style brows and natural never goes out of style. Each and every “hair” is meticulously created with your unique features in mind. No two sets of brows are the same, each unique, like each and every one of our clients. Although technically considered permanent, your brows will fade slowly over time, allowing you to update your look as trends and your preferences change.

  • A Combination of Nano Strokes Powder Shading. Hybrid Brows are easily the most popular option because you get the best of both worlds. You can have the hair stroke look along with shading to create a seamless blend of both natural hair and permanent makeup. This is a good option for most skin types. If you have naturally sparse brow hair or uneven brow growth, a hybrid brow is perfect for you! Soft shading blends out any unevenness in the growth and can give a more 3D result. It is also ideal for those looking for a more defined or filled in brow. We can add as much or as little shading to give a variety of different looks!

This is a beautiful look for all skin types (including oily/aging skin), and heals very soft and beautiful.

  • Powder brow has no hair strokes and is made up entirely of fine pixels. It is ideal for all skin types. Powder Brows are recommended for clients who have oily prone or mature/thin skin. If you are someone that colors your brows in regularly with a pencil or prefers a more filled in look this service is best for you. Unlike with individual strokes, this technique achieves results by using a tattoo machine. The machine disperses fine pixels of pigment into the skin in an airbrush/shading technique. These pixels are layered on top of each other until the desired amount of saturation is achieved. There are many different variations of Powder Brows that can be created to suite the clients preference. A softly shaded brow with no harsh edges for an ultra natural look. Ombré brows can be done for a bolder look. shading is applied in layers and lightens as it reached the bulb of the brow, keeping the tail defined. Powder brows can be completely customized to fit your desired look. Immediately after the treatment, powder brows can appear more saturated or bold, however healed results appear like soft powdery finish. During the healing process the brows can fade from 40-80%. This range depends on lifestyle, skin type and compliance with aftercare.

You will not be able to see the true healed results until at least 4 weeks after your appointment when the skin is fully healed. Powder Brows are a two appointment process. After your initial appointment you will need to follow up 8-12 weeks later for your “perfecting appointment” I will go over the brows again to ensure proper coverage for any pigment loss during the healing process. After that you are all set. It is suggested to come back once a year to maintain shape and color, however powder brows typically last longer and you may be able to extend your touch-up to three years.

  • If you are someone who wears medium-full coverage makeup daily, you will most likely still feel the need to pencil your eyebrows in after getting Nano, since it is a light enhancement and cannot provide the full coverage as makeup would. Although Nano is the most “natural” look this may not be the case for everyone, unless a client is an ideal candidate, Nano can look more unnatural than something like a Hybrid or Powder brow.

    • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.

    • You must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Brow Aftercare Instructions:

Do not touch the brows with your fingers for 48 hours to avoid bacteria being transferred onto the open wound. At the 48 hour mark with clean hands, use the soap provided and gently dab onto the brows using a paper towel. A little goes a long way very little soap is necessary for application. After you’ve finished cleansing them let them air dry. Once dry apply a pea-size amount of the tattoo cream provided onto each brow tapping very gently. You will repeat these steps once a day at night time only for five days AFTER your initial 48 hours. When scabs appear, do not pick, pull or rub them. You must be gentle to prevent scabs coming off prematurely.

Avoid sleeping on your side or face down on your pillow, sleeping on your back is preceded while healing. Absolutely no water on the brows. No sun, sweating, saunas, beach or swimming until all scabs have fallen off. No waxing, tweezing the brows until 2 weeks after procedure. Antibiotics

The general rule for antibiotics is: You should have finished your antibiotic course for as long as you were on the course before having any tattoo procedure. For example: If you are on a 14-day antibiotic cycle then your appointment should follow no sooner than 14-days after you have completed your antibiotics. If you have a booked appointment and it becomes necessary to take antibiotics, please call us and reschedule using this time frame guideline!
