PERMANENT MAKE-UP
lip blushing

About
Lip Blushing is a cosmetic procedure to enhance the beauty of your natural lips.
By adding pigment to the lips it can add significant definition to the shape, improve symmetry and also give the illusion of fuller lips. It can even correct hyper-pigmented lips to lighten and brighten them. Color is customized & selected to each clients preference. Swelling is normal & will subside within 48hours. The final outcome will be 50%-60% lighter than the initial appointment leaving a beautiful lip stain affect. An eight week touch up is required to complete the full results. Lip Blushing can last 3-4 years with proper care. Just grab your gloss & go. If you’re prone to viral infections/ cold sores you must get an anti-viral medication from your physician prior to the service.

ANTIBIOTICS: The general rule for antibiotics is: You should have finished your antibiotic course for as long as you were on the course before having any tattoo procedure. For example: If you are on a 14-day antibiotic cycle then your appointment should follow no sooner than 14-days after you have completed your antibiotics. If you have a booked appointment and it becomes necessary to take antibiotics, please call us and reschedule using this time frame guideline!
COLD SORES: If you have a history of cold sores, ask your doctor for a prescription for Acyclovir. Start taking it three days before your appointment and continue for three days after the procedure.

Afterwards the lips will be swollen and the skin will feel tight. Icing immediately afterwards will alleviate discomfort and bring the swelling down.
This will also prevent bruising from occurring. No exercising for 5-7 days. Absolutely no picking or pulling at any scabs while lips are healing. No kissing is allowed. Your lips are essentially an open wound between the first seven days and can be easily infected. Keep the lips constantly moisturized. Aquaphor is what I suggest using, please do not use Vaseline, Neosporin or antibiotic creams on the lips.
Avoid the following immediately after: WATER (ON THE PMU AREA, ASIDE FROM CLEANING THE MAKE UP) EXCESSIVE SWEATING SAUNA POOLS SUNBATHING SPICY FOOD
